As an announcement of the start of the construction of the Čibuk 2 wind farm, during July 2024, project presentations were held in the local communities around the future wind farm: Mramorak, Bavanište and Dolovo.
Residents of the surrounding villages learnt more about the project itself, timelines of construction, a summary of the social ad environemtal impacts during the construction and operation phase of the wind farm, as well as the transport route of the turbine components. The grievance mechanism, as well as the Social Investment Program for 2024, are explained in more detail.
The Čibuk 2 project team had the opportunity to thank the residents of the local communities for their long-term cooperation on the previous Čibuk 1 project and announced the continuation of the partnership, as well as the desire to contribute in its own way to the improvement of living conditions at the local level.
