Čibuk 2 Social Investment Program supports improvement of local infrastructure, and initiatives in the field of culture, education, youth care, environmental protection, promotion of sports and local traditions in the Municipality of Kovin and local communities Bavanište, Mramorak and Dolovo.
Social Investment Program in 2024
In 2024, Čibuk 2 Wind Energy continued the implementation of the Social Investment Program (SIP) in order to support local communities by financing twenty-three small socially responsible projects near the location of the Čibuk 2 wind farm, in Kovin, Bavanište, Dolovo, Mramorko and Vladimirovac.

- Hungarian cultural and artistic society “Keve” -Children’s workshops – traditional handcrafts made of recycled materials
- Cultural and artistic society “Paja Marganović” Deliblato – national costume
- Football club “Radnički” Kovin – adaptation of changing rooms
- Humanitarian association “Kovin’s human heart” – school equipment for the kids from disadvantaged families
- Amateur theater “Kovin” – a theater show with an environmental theme

In 2023 C2WE started implementation of the Social Investment Program (SIP) in order to support local economic and social development among communities close to the Čibuk 2 windfarm site, in Kovin, Bavanište, Dolovo and Mramorak, by funding small projects related to infrastructure, childcare, education, sport, culture, local traditions, etc.

- Kovin centre for children with disabilities “Lasta” – Procurement of IT equipment for children with disabilities day care

In addition, C2WE organized visits and workshops in schools in Mramorak, Dolovo, and Bavanište in November 2023 in order to promote the project Čibuk 2 and renewable energy in general among students of 7th and 8th grade of elementary schools.
The presentations pointed out the importance of ecology and provided an overview of the differences (advantages and disadvantages) between non-renewable and renewable energy sources with an emphasis on the field of wind energy (short history of the development of this field, work technology, video of the Čibuk 1 wind farm).
